Piszak Speaker was Jim Brozena, Executive Director of the Flood
Protection Authority. Jim did his usual masterful job of explaining
the Riverfront Project, with a Power Point program. He also
injected a little humor, as he has known most of us for many
years. Thanks John for a great program.

want to miss this one, because if you do, you will certainly
be nominated to be president after John Harrington. And I’m
not kidding – just try us.

DECEMBER 23 – (TUESDAY) CHRISTMAS CAROLING
NIGHT AT THE WESTMORELAND CLUB. Christine Leandri will be playing
the piano with all of your Christmas Favorites, like, “I’ll
Be Out With My Rotary Buddies on Christmas” and “The
Twelve Days of Rotary Conference Rehab”.
5-7 PM Half Price Cocktails & Complimentary Hors d'Oeuvres,
followed by dinner. The club members will pay their usual weekly
dinner charge, plus the bar bill will be divided up by all.
The cost of dinner will be a “three-way” split between
Chris Borton, John Morris and Mark Sobeck. There will be special
dinner selections (Chilean Sea Bass, Prime Rib, or Six Cheese
Pasta with Smoked Salmon and Lobster), or you can order anything
off the Downtown Grille menu.
